Mounting a fish-finder transducer on a Cajo rigid hullAll three Cajo rigids — Outpost 100, Outpost 128 and Terra 116 — share the same transducer cavity, sized for transducers up to 12" long, with the same two brass inserts taking M5 hardware. Brackets differ by fish-finder make and model, so you pick a third-party adapter that fits your transducer; our insert pattern matches the Vibe Shearwater 125, so Shearwater 125 adapters are the ones to look at.Transporting a Cajo from home to the waterA standard kayak trailer handles the rigid Cajos; the Highlander AirTrek inflatables pack into a bag and ride in any vehicle; truck beds with foam blocks and a hitch extender work for the rigid line too.Trolling motors on a CajoMost owners run a Newport NK180 Pro on the stern Power-Pole mount (every model) or a Minn-Kota RTA-17 puck on the bow (Terra 116 and Outpost 128 only) — electric only, never gas.

Troubleshooting
When something is not right.
Keeping your Outpost watertightRule out the stern drain plug and thru-hull seals first; if water's still getting in on an Outpost 100 or 128, the front hatch may have settled off its gasket — we ship foam support blocks at no charge to reseat it.Missing rudder or steering handleIf your Terra or Outpost kit arrived without the rudder or steering handle, file the claims form with your HIN and the dealer you purchased from, and we'll get the missing parts out either direct or through the dealer, whichever is faster.Rudder cable tubing: how to thread and flare a replacementFlare one end of the tube, feed it in from the outside and out the rudder deployment hole, then pull it tight, clamp it, trim close to the hole, and flare that second end. The two flares are what hold the tube stretched and stop it pulling back through.
