Why does the Terra 116 arrive in more than one box?

The Terra 116 ships in two boxes — the hull, and a separate parts box for the drive, rudder, seat, and hardware. The Terra's open deck has no cockpit to pack parts into the way the Outposts do. Check for every box on arrival.

Your Terra 116 PDL ships in two boxes: the hull in one, and the pedal drive, rudder, seat, and rigging hardware in a separate parts box. That's expected — nothing is missing.

Why the Terra ships this way

The Outpost 100 and Outpost 128 have an enclosed cockpit, and the drive, rudder, and rigging ride inside that cockpit for the trip — one boat, one box, parts tucked in the hull.

The Terra is built on an open, SUP-style deck. It's a big, flat, walkable platform — which is exactly what makes it such a good fishing and hunting boat — but it means there's no enclosed cockpit to pack the loose parts into. So those parts travel in their own box alongside the hull instead.

Same complete kit either way. It just arrives in two cartons instead of one.

What to do when it arrives

  • Count your boxes before you sign. Both cartons are dispatched together, but freight can occasionally split a shipment across trucks. Confirm you have the hull box and the parts box.
  • Check the parts box against the packing list — pedal drive, rudder and steering handle, seat, and hardware.
  • Inspect for freight damage on both cartons before signing, the same as any freight delivery. See freight delivery, start to finish.
